Accomodation

If you are looking for the accomodation in Prague for the courses, you can have a look at
the hotel Emmy <http://www.emmy.cz/?lang=en>, which is walking distance (10min), or
one bus station from the "Lb" building where the courses are led. The way how to get to
the hotel is the same as for courses, you only leave the bus 193 one station earlier on

Getting to the center of Prague from this hotel takes approximately 20 minutes by bus
(No 114,193,272) and then by subway. Public transportincluding subway operates until
midnight (opens at 5 a.m.). There is a special offer for Tataa course participants when
the room is reserved at least one month before course. The price for you will be at

TAXI - distance from Ruzyne airport to the centre is cca 20 km and to the TATAA Biocentre
cca 30 km. Some older taxi drivers probably wouldn´t know us, so the address is

Public transport – at the airport take the bus No. 119 to metro station Dejvická (cca. 20 min.).
Dejvická station is first on metro line A- green. Then from Dejvická station to Muzeum station.
On Muzeum station change to metro line C (red) - direction Háje and get off at the Budejovická
station (10 + 10 min.). Go to exit the station "Budejovická" in the same direction that the train
came, following signs for "Poliklinika". After leaving the station, continue walking through a small
below-ground shopping area in the same direction until the last stairs on the right, again following
signs for "Poliklinika".
At the top of the stairs is a bus stop . Take bus No. 193 in the direction “Ústavy Akademie ved”
until the final stop (15 min.).

From any place in Prague to the seminar room

TATAA Biocenter is located in the complex of Academy of sciences, terminal bus station of line
No. 193 “Ustavy akademie ved”. This will help you to find the connection, Map for better orientation.
Enter the nearest metro station. Then go to the metro line C (the red line) and take a train in the
direction “Háje”. Travel on metro line C to the station “Budejovická”. Most likely you are going in the
direction from the town center, so exit the station "Budejovická" in the same direction that the train
came, following signs for "Poliklinika". After leaving the station, continue walking through a small
below-ground shopping area in
the same direction until the last stairs on the right, again following signs for "Poliklinika". At the
top of the stairs is a bus stop. Take bus No. 193 in the direction “Ústavy Akademie věd” until the
final stop.

The entrance to the Academy of Sciences campus is directly opposite the bus stop. Enter the campus,
turn to the left, and follow the road for approximately 150 meters until the first large building on the
left, building LB. This is the Institute of Molecular Genetics. The seminar room is in the second floor.
