1-day, 3-day and 5-day tourist tickets on public transport are available for purchase at
information centers located, for example, at the airport and at the Museum station in
Prague Centre. You can also buy single fare tickets at wending machines or newspaper
shops at evey station. Single fare ticket is 26 Kč. The ticket is valid for 60 minutes after
checking it when trip starts. Some Prague taxi services include:

Accomodation

Excellent accomodation in Prague for the courses is available at the hotel Emmy which is
at walking distance (10min), or one bus station from the "Lb" building at Krc Campus,
where the courses are led. The way to get to the hotel is the same as for courses,
you only leave bus 193 one station earlier on “IKEM” stop. More info about how to
get there is available on the Emmy hotel contact pages. From the Emmy hotel to the city
center it is about 20 minutes by bus (No 114,193,272) and then by Metro (line C). Public
transport operates until midnight (from 5 a.m). Emmy hotel offers TATAA course participants
discount when  the room is booked at least one month in advance. Your price will be at least

From the airport

TAXI - distance from Ruzyne airport to the centre is app 20 km and to the TATAA Biocentre

Public transport – at the airport take bus No. 119 to metro station Dejvická (app 20 min.).
Dejvická station is the first on metro line A- green. Then from Dejvická station to Muzeum station. 
At Muzeum station change to metro line C (red) - direction Háje and get off at the Budejovická
station (10 + 10 min.). Go to exit the station "Budejovická" in the same direction that the train
came, following signs for "Poliklinika". After leaving the station, continue walking through a small
below-ground shopping area in the same direction until the last stairs on the right, again following
signs for "Poliklinika".
At the top of the stairs is a bus stop . Take bus No. 193 in the direction “Ústavy Akademie ved”
until the final stop (15 min.).

It is possible to buy 1-day, 3-day or 5-day tourist tickets directly at the airport – at the information
centers. Or you can buy a single ticket for each trip (26 Kč, newspaper shops & ticket machines ).
Validity of this ticket is limited to 60 minutes after checking in.

From any place in Prague to the seminar room

TATAA Biocenter is located in the complex of Academy of sciences, terminal bus station of line
No. 193 “Ustavy akademie ved”. This will help you to find the connection, Map for better orientation.
Enter the nearest metro station. Then go to the metro line C (the red line) and take a train in the
direction “Háje”. Travel on metro line C to the station “Budejovická”. Most likely you are going in the
direction from the town center, so exit the station "Budejovická" in the same direction that the train
came, following signs for "Poliklinika". After leaving the station, continue walking through a small
below-ground shopping area in the same direction until the last stairs on the right, again following signs for "Poliklinika". At the top of the stairs is a bus stop. Take bus No. 193 in the direction “Ústavy Akademie věd” until the final stop.

The entrance to the Academy of Sciences campus is directly opposite the bus stop. Enter the campus,
turn to the left, and follow the road for approximately 150 meters until the first large building on the
left, building LB. This is the Institute of Molecular Genetics. The seminar room is on the second floor.
