Technical seminar

18th May

Assay design & validation for gene expression & SNP genotyping

During this seminar, co-organized by TATAA Biocenter AB and Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), you will learn about the workflow for proper assay design and validation.

We will focus on the tools that help you achieve relevance, accuracy, correct interpretation and repeatability. We will also cover how to design and wet-lab validate your assays, and which controls  to include.

The seminar will be held at 5 locations:

Presenters:

Jens Björkman MSc, Director Commissioned Services, TATAA Biocenter

Dr. Richelle Spanjers, Field Application Specialist qPCR & Genotyping, IDT

Presenters:

Prof. Mikael Kubista, Founder of TATAA Biocenter

Dr. Richelle Spanjers, Field Application Specialist qPCR & Genotyping, IDT

The seminar is free of charge and a light lunch will be served to all registered attendees. Feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues.

Featured products

  • PrimeTime qPCR predesigned assays for human, mouse and rat. These assays are synthesized using current sequence information and have guaranteed performance.
  • Double-Quenched ZEN probes have consistently low background, reduced C q values, improved precision, and enable the use of longer probes.
  • rhAmp SNP Genotyping – a superior SNP discrimination system based on rhPCR technology. The system increases the signal-to-noise ratios and leads to improved cluster separation and higher confidence genotyping calls.
  • gBlock Gene Fragments are sequence-verified, double-stranded DNA fragments for affordable and easy qPCR standards.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Welcome!
